Even mentioning a trade for Zito is crazy at this point! Then you guys have to bust my balls about how somehow you could get him without giving one reason as to why. You guys missed all the real things I said in my original post but you guys like to fight with me but I can handle it.

I fail to see how even mentioning a trade for someone who has constantly been rumored to be on the trade block is crazy.

And we could get him, but a realistic trade package would probably be well more than i'd be willing to give up.

It's April 25th And the FACT that there has been no truth to any RUMOR makes that crazy and the fact that you guys can't give one reason why the A's would trade makes my point! You guys know damn well you have no shot as you stated Hollywood but just want to fight! You can say its my opinion but its really bringing you back down to Earth. And yes when it comes to shooting down ridiculous trade offers, MY OPINION IS RIGHT! Hasn't failed me yet!

I merely stated that it's unlikely, that's not saying we have no shot.

And i'm more than certain Beane would at least consider Josh Barfield/Ceasar Carillo for Zito, although i'd personally be pissed if the Padres did that.

And i'm well aware of what time of year it is, but the fact remains that Zito is on the last year of his contract and if the A's are out of it before the deadline it's highly possible that they trade him....which makes if discussions far from being crazy.

Exactly! Unrealistic! Not going to happen! I love how you guys keep saying opinion when it is opinion that Bonds did roids! When it's FACT, then you can cry about how someone thinks their opinions are always right. Boo Hoo the Pads with no Zito.

    Padres

Hey Reefer, I feel sorry for you, I really do. I know it weares on you that you have to defend Barry Bonds every day. I know it's tough to be a Giants fan because you're not waving the W.S. flag that is now in Anaheim. I also know that you realize that you have to argue for Bonds, without him, the Giants are just another team in the NL West with less attendance than your NFL team.

Yeah just as tough being a Pads fans! I have no problems because we atcually win more than we lose. Which team has the most alltime wins? Find that answer and you know why I have no problems. I feel soory for people who actually think they have a shot at getting Zito and the only reason is because he is from there like he has a choice. Anahiem won that series just as did the Yanks. And its a Giants fan dick! NFL is all gay so don't try and bring more irrelevant shit into it! Have fun in the cellar!

An opinion backed with to much truth, almost like your opinions about Barry.

Beane has said Zito isn't going anywhere. Show me a quote where Zito said he wanted out of Oakland...he's never said that. He's said he's focused on helping Oakland win this year. He's not even worried about next year. Beane will be more than happy to let Zito walk and take the 1st round pick and sandwich pick between the 1st and 2nd round for him.

It's possible, but the only way it happens to me is if the A's are completely out of it at the deadline and then they deal him (which I don't see happening). Beane has let players wlak before and taken the picks...why do you think he won't do it again? (Giambi, Tejada, Damon, Foulke, Izzy)
