Ok, there's a few conditions here... but if the guy I want isn't on the board, my secondary choice is Jess Tiano, the reliever. Now, I will have no problem stretching and taking him at 5, but I figure I can swing a deal, and somebody else can move up and get a big time hitting prospect, should they so choose.
Now, here's the deal... if my guy isn't on the board at 5, which it's safe to say he won't be... I will make a deal with somebody here. But since there's no trading picks themselves... I will take the guy you want at 5... then at your pick, you take Tiano... and I will get a 4 star prospect from you in the deal. So essentially, we're looking at... a 4 star prospect at any position, plus a 5 star reliever prospect, for a 5 star prospect of your choice from this draft.
If no one is interested... I'll be honest, I'd have no problem taking Tiano at 5... but I figure somebody out there has got to be willing to sacrifice a 4 star prospect to move up and get a potential All Star year in year out.
EDIT: Incase it doesn't edit right... the title should read top 5 pick... it would make no sense for the 10th pick overall to move from 10 to 9... ya.
