    oakland a's 2018 block

    c alex bengoa 2.0 spect http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p1401.html
    c harry potts 2.0 stars http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p3622.html
    1b nate diller 1.0 stars http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p606.html
ss robert hawthorne 3.0 spect http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p904.html

looking for bullpen help in return. nothing spectacular, but something in the range of 2.0-3.0, maybe even less depending on who i'm trading.

im only looking to trade one of the two catchers, but potts is much easier for me to deal because of salary flexability...

if you're looking into a spect or diller, you might have to help me out if the player you're trading is out of my budget and send some money my way, or take on one of these two:

mariano zeno 1.0 stars http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p1014.html (3 mil, 1 yr remaining)
floyd vasquez 1.0 stars http://www.strike3sim.com/League/p3307.html (2.5 mil, 1 yr remaining)

i know they're bums, but they're expiring contracts that probably wouldn't be a problem for a lot of you to take on. but seeing as how i only have about 1 mil available...

Still looking to unload Bengoa or Potts.

Bengoa has 9 contact vs RHP if I'm not mistaking, a high avoid k's, and decent gap, so he could definitely be of some use even if only as a backup C. But as of now he's going to be sitting in my minors, and I can't really justify having a 9-contact player sit in my minors, so he's very much available still.

Potts is solid across the board, but nothing spectacular. Nonetheless, he's a cheap 2 yr fix for someone looking for one.

Hawthorne is still available too, as is Fabella if someone has another spect that interests me at a different position or a cheap MLB ready reliever.

And while Nate Diller probably overperformed big time last year, he could help your team in a part time or bench role. 24 HRs, 85+ RBIs if I remember right. That's not bad for a player making the league minimum.

Jesus Maldonado, another 1B who plays a little 3B too I think, is also available. I'd prefer to have him on my MLB roster because of the versatility, but I can't justify sending Diller down since he had so much success last year.

Again, if you're willing to take on Zeno or Vasquez, I'd love to trade you a guy like Fabella. But since he's my top spect (gross, huh?) he's not going to be as easy to get.

I hated to have to deal Sonnier only because he was a top 100 spect, and the top spect in my system, but when I got an offer for a young pen arm, I did what's best for my team now and within the next 3 years, as I have tons of 3B in my system and no bullpen arms. So no one is really untouchable I guess.

In return I'm looking for one more decent bullpen arm, who isn't overpriced and has a good track record. 3.0-3.5 range, depending on the spect or amount of spects I'm giving up. But mind you, I'm in no rush to deal... I feel confortable after acquiring Deshazo and signing Kemp, even if Deshazo isn't quite ready and Kemp is on his last leg. But that doesn't mean I'm not open to negotiating should the right offer come along.

So PM, or AIM me at: This Secret Nick. Thanks guys.
