Yawn. Money to blow on a game. I will spend what I want. Fortunately I don't get worked up about something that isn't real like some here do. It's not like I spent $ 8 mil. on a real life player!

And BTW, Rodriguez' composite OPS over the last three years would have placed him at or slightly above middle of the pack numbers when it comes to NL 2B this past (real) MLB season. The same goes for LaRoche. And if you think last year's numbers might have been an "off year", it would seem plausible considering his other years were much better. In the five prior years, LaRoche's composite OPS was .892, which would place him in the upper tier of 1B.

What I find funny is that certain individuals act like this game actually means something in the scheme of things. I overpaid to get some players on a game. I'm playing this for fun. I don't really care about overpaying or not overpaying. It's not like I blindly overpaid for them thinking they were ELITE players. I knew they were average or slightly above average, but my offense needed some major help and I had to overpay to get players with OPS' better than the .500-.600 range. I think with average offense that my pitching will be seeing more victories this year with their talent. At least that's the plan. If things don't go that way, then oh well. It's a game.

I'm not knocking you for having that opinion, actually I fully agree with it. But I treat this game like real MLB in a sense, but fully knowing that it's just a game and for fun. You overpaid, people are going to say things, don't take it to heart so much. Just prove us all wrong and kick everybodys a$$. Things are only going to bother you, if you let them bother you.

CRF, LaRoche is going to bomb. If you needed offense, shoulda hollered at me.

Why do you think LaRoche will bomb? He had a bad year last year. I see no other reason.

He's 33. He's just entering his prime. Just ask Barry.
