Wouldn't happen to have a cheap 4th starter would you?

How bout them Cubs? Now we'll get over 100 wins and not make the playoffs. That's my goal after winning 96 and 98 games and not making it.

completely undershot on miguel. didnt think hed get that much, though he was a 28 year old pitcher on a market that rarely gets those.

nice to steal magner though... shame to lose casas, who inexplicably didnt like my organization. douche.

and year after year i continue to get sucked back into alvaro barcenas. god only knows why.

I also undershot on Miguel, significantly, but I'm glad I did. He's a great pitcher but I've seen how badly contracts like that have handicapped me in the past.

I offered Miguel 6x16.8 and Finley 1x4.3 and both pricks would not even consider playing in the City of Brotherly Love. There is obviously no OOTP version of Cliff Lee... spurning the largest offers to play on a great team... Oops, thats where I went wrong... no great team,

The NL East will be even tougher with Dry back.

I offered Miguel the 7 and about 5 mil less. Sure wish the Nats had a GM last season, than he'd probably still be with us.
But hey, at least I got Joe Buggs, right?

    This thread Buggs me.

But um, hey, I did get someone I can use as a starter. Or a closer. Or maybe train bears to dance and poop on the Cubs' GM' wine collection. Happy all the way around.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

I'm still below my revenue from last season and my TV contracts went up a little. I've got $7 mil for sure coming off the books in SP Speth, too.

I don't like wine. A beer once in a while yes, but the Cubs are not wine drinkers. I'm sure a bunch of trained bears and Barbosa would still win the division. That guy can carry a team of dudes with no arms to a title.
