Besides, this is easily the best FA for catchers. If you can't get one out of the bunch, try offering more than 300k next time..

Nice to finally get two pieces to make another run at the World Series. I got my catcher and a younger but talented outfielder for the released Kelly. Still need to sign a sp though.

All the expensive pitchers and OF didnt like my organization.

Like Countryman, Beard, McBride, and Orvis that was close to 35 mil in offers by themselves (in two waves). I dont think Im done, pen is still a little shallow i think.
