A subpar free agency can really allow for some deals to be had. Savino and Shank going for amounts that low is really amazing. I guarantee if we had some primo talent (which would have meant teams getting rejected and having to "settle"), both would have gotten about 3 mil more per season.

I can't help it if Schank decided to take a 60% pay cut (from his initial demand) to play for Anaheim.

Lachance wanted like 23 mil per for 4 seasons from me, so I know the pain.

Meh, Schank is a loss, but not a huge loss. His final two years of usefulness wasn't going to boost Tampa any further.
