I cannot reiterate this enough, the playoffs are luck based. I did not think I would beat San Fran and I did. I should have lost every series. Don't get me wrong, my team is talented and I expected to compete for the Wild Card, but I've had much better teams in the past get their asses kicked.

    Good series though General.

I dunno. I'd be pissed if your pitching beat me, but to have your O basically violate the sanctity of my entire pitching staff is a little depressing, because this is easily the best staff I've had in this league.

I fear the rise of the Pirates more than anything and I am not joking. The NL East is star-studded in terms of GM and talent, I know all of those teams are going to have GM's who put their teams into competition (or get severely unlucky, like the Mets have been), but the Pirates and Marlins have a longstanding rivalry fueled by bitter hatred for one another.

The game works in weird ways. Look at my lineup, we're 16th in batting average for the regular season and yet my contact ratings overall are: 9-9-9-8-9-7-8. We've seen a team without a GM get to the World Series, it's just screwy and a true roll of the dice.

No shit? How do you think Detroit with McCullough and crap swept both Florida teams back in 2020?
