The Pirates boast the NL Rookie of the Year in Erubiel Valverde and the NL Most Valuable Player in Bill Goering.

Their numbers are even more impressive considering I benched both of them during the ENTIRE month of September.

Breaking news out of Washington. Jerry Owens stole the CF gold glove from Arturo Rivas. Just try to tell me Owens deserved it more than Rivas.

Owens: 424 TC, 5 Errors, 5 Outfield Assists, .988 Fielding percentage
Rivas: 403 TC, 1 Error, 7 Outfield Assists, .998 fielding percentage
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

How sad is it that the AL Rookie of the Year had a pathetic 4.70 era?

Ubeda had just about the same amount of games, and had 9 fewer errors than the Oakland *****, Harris.

nah, he wont put up the power numbers or play the field well enough. he'll bat about... .275-.280, with 35 doubles and 25 steals, but only like 5 homers. juan faria is gonna go 23-2 with a 1.35 era.

Faria is going to walk 200 batters and get stomped like a new age Wakefield.
