    No, that would be Pedro Liriano, when he was making 12.5 mil for me.

    I stand corrected.

    Anyway, I'm not afraid to eat the money... I want the best team available on the field, regardless of money. I actually like my lineup and Rotation... I could use one true "ace" and one bonafide slugger, but my bullpen is clearly the achilles heel of my team.

    McCullough might be young and doesnt have the experience, but he's your ace bro. You'd have to trade off a lot of big talent to get a better pitcher than him (which there aren't too many of.) Anyway, what a comeback year for Valentine, I guess he really did just need a change of scenery.

    McCullough and Wimbley are

    I can't wait to have them both pitching in the same rotation. I know it will take time before they emerge, but they're ready... Sleeth, Walk, Jackson and Evert are about as good as one can expect them to be given their abilities... no complaints about them at all.

    Your bullpen hurts, but your offense ain't helping either....

    It looks like you need Victorino, Engelman, and Dan Meyer

    Yeah, I know my offense pretty much rots. Fortuna has been hitting well though, and once crisp comes back, the addition of him and bay should give it a bit of a lift. I could use a real power hitter... like a 40 HR guy.

    Couldn't we all... in this league, that is not too common though... most of those guys are locked up for a LONG time... you can find 30 HR guys available though...

    {start subliminal message} You need Shane Victorino... you need Shane Victorino {end subliminal message}

    I wish I had the budget to take him on. I'm trying to trim salary. I got a little carried away with spending... I'm trying to phase in some of my minor leaguers.

    Granted, I could buy some speedy leadoff guy who steals 70-80 bases a year having such a statistical anomally, but Victorino- a slugger- having more steals than strikeouts for his career is amazing.

    I'm actually disappointed in my stolen base production as a team. Once I have bay and crisp in my lineup along with Siller or Johnson, I should be getting a lot more.

    I don't hit homeruns or steal bases either. It's too trendy.

    I have only one outfielder with at least 1 steal.

    7-2 in a series with Baltimore and Toronto...and NYM and ATL, I'll definitely take it. Mission was a ridiculous 8-1 after the trades. lol.

    Still, I like it. 1-2 against TOR, but perfection against the rest
