Furthermore, checking the initial post, the betting was only left open for the 23rd, so if I didn't check the vegas forum that night I wouldn't have gotten my extra 1k.

Just seems to me that if you're going to give some people an extra 1K for the playoffs you should give everyone an extra 1k.

Why reward people for checking this everyday?

I'm not that big into this whole betting thing (as you can tell by my betting activity) so it doesn't really bother me a whole lot, but it does seem a bit unfair, none-the-less.

i pmed fisher a couple days ago and it seems his plan to do a nascar style point system thing for the playoffs... whereas i would get 2k, providence would get like 1.75, and so on and so forth down the line. so im not sure the 1k is gonna matter in the long run. if he was going to let everyone keep the money they got during the regular season, id never bet stupid enough to lose, so providence would just have to cash in huge... and in that case, really only me and prov would have a shot to win anyway.

I didn't PM the unchecked in until late last night, mostly because I wanted to give people a chance to find the stickied thread and reminder in the discussion forum on their own.

It was an open bet for the entire week, trust me on that.

And Hammer's right on the playoff format. Top 8 in current score get in, and I use a NASCAR system to stagger the playoffs.

what the hell does that mean? I work full-time (about 50 hours a week) on top of other stuff and I saw it. If people had time to log-in, then they had time to see this thread.
