    S3SL: Howard McGill

This is a simple one: Will Howard McGill, the best FA in the market and a catcher to boot, a 29-year old power hitting catcher, be signed in the first round, and also for how much per year when he does sign.

Mission, I know you're an ethical guy, so I'm going to trust you that you won't use inside information to win money on this bet. If you want to bet early, feel free, but I'm not going to prohibit you. This is a bit touchy since you do see the bets, so I hope you get your bet in before the bidding opens tommorow. If you would prefer, I will create a real-baseball based bet for you and anyone who prefers that of the same odds and probability.

One bet is already in on him, so I will abstain from this one without a problem.

This will be left unsettled until McGill signs

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

OK mission, thanks for the quick update. I will make up a bet for Wednesday's Reds game for anyone who wants to abstain from this bet.

It's strange for me as a division rival to say this, but I'm kind of rooting for Hammer to keep McGill, given the sad state of the Yankees.

If I had enough money, I'd go all-in on $20 mil or more and offer him $25 mil.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I didn't expect the guy to sign in the first round, or go to an NL team. At least I got the signing amount right. That made up for losing the other 2 bets.
