They need a couple of touchdown passes from Brooks.

When he doesn't have a running game. Frank Thomas could make a sturdy power back.

Yay for A-Rod! Gets an RBI in garbage time with the score 15-1. Stat padding rules!

I went to bed after Chop Suey went deep...oh well, it's only 1 game and as Kendall said "I guess we're not going to go undefeated." But to compare the A's and Reds is a joke This team is not that team and actually has a realistic chance to win something this year.

Let the Yankees have their 15 runs, too bad they won't get that off Harden tonight and Mussina is likely to give it up so sweet.

I'm not going to opening night anymore when Zito is the starter; that was pucking fathetic. Let's see: Zito got rocked, Crosby got hurt so hell we're right on schedule. I know I know it's only one game. We walked eight batters and hit three. Nice.

Welp, let's hope Rich can cool those Bombers bats. We did have a lot of cool Yankees fans sitting by us from the East Coast (REAL Yankees fans) so that was fun.

The nice thing is there are 161 more games.

Athletics shortstop Bobby Crosby suffered a significant cut on his hand and it is highly unlikely he will play today against the Yankees, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano stepped on Crosby's glove during a stolen base attempt and the shortstop's finger appeared to be cut when he removed his glove. Crosby will get X-rays today, and given his injury history, the fear is always broken bones: Along with the cracked ribs, which sidelined him two months, he also fractured his left ankle in August and went on the disabled list again.
"So much for Peter Gammons's AL MVP pick."

I know what you mean about Yankee fans. I have more respect for Red-Sox-Fan, than Phony-Yankee-Fan.

I love watching Rich Harden pitch. Llooks like its going to be another late night on the east coast tonight.

oh no, we're definitely going 0 - 162 scoring only 324 runs all year and the Yanks are going to go 162 - 0 scoring a record 2430 runs! all is lost! I'm going to go hang myself now.
