It's another match-up of the "surprise" teams. Should be interesting. Some of the O's hitters seem to be cooling off now. And we'll get to see ex-Athletic jay Payton again, whaddya know.
On a tangent, Cust was named AL Player of the Week for the second time in his career. He hit .500 with three homers, a double, and 4 RBI this week. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come!
Definitely two of the biggest surprise teams. Especially the A's, after they traded away Haren. This should be an interesting series. Who knows what kind of energy the series winner could take out of it?
Both pitchers are definately concerned about the running game...there's been like a half dozen pick-off attempts already, and it's just the bottom of the first. Scratch that, the top of the second.
^2, scoreless game.
A's win 2-1 in ten innings and Brown drove in the game-winner.
$2 tix $1 hot dogs on wednesday.
I wish I lived in the Bay Area...do you need any PE teachers?
A's won 4 - 2...going for the sweep today
There goes our lead...5-4 O's.
What happened to Brown? He's been so good for so long! Guess all good things have to come to and end.
Bases loaded with the Big Hurt coming up to the plate. The anticipation and anxiety is just killing me!
TIE GAME BABY!
Thomas hit a slow roller to short and Hanahan up-ended Roberts and he couldn't complete the DP. 5-5 game now.
HR by Ellie off the foul pole give us the win. 6-5 A's. WOOT WOOT we got the sweep too!
