A good move for the Yankees to get this matter dealt with with but I think its a bad move for Cashman since he will never be the real GM of this team. Brian should have gone elsewhere to show off his real talents.

The problem with evaluating Cashman is the cabal in Tampa that seems to force moves on their own and undermine him constantly. Was it Cashman who signed Tony Womack, or the Tampa crew?
