Tino walks, Bubba in to run. The top of the order comes up and Dustin Hermanson will now enter the game.

Jeter strikes out, 2 down for Cano. Game over we lose 2 of 3.

i wouldn't go that far but I am sick of seeing him play, I'd rather have Flaherty out there.

    I want Chris Widger back.

Well, 1 out of 3 is not going to get us anywhere.

I think we are one foot out the door looking inside at the playoffs. A couple more series like these coupled with Boston, who can't lose, and a hot Oakland as well as LA Anaheim teams...vacation could come early for Jeter.

Have you EVER seen Posada block the plate? I've never EVER seen him take a hit at home. EVER.

Sorry, he's too good of a backup.

I was glad to take that game and the series. By the way, not sure if you mean that you wanted Posada to have his body entirely in front of the plate on the 3rd base line, but he did have his foot blocking the plate. Uribe's slide just kicked it out of the way and he placed his tag too high like Cano did with Rowand the other day. Another good game today, but Freddy was on the road during the day. The Sox can't lose in that situation. Anyway, good luck until later this month. Hopefully your boys or Cleveland will pass Oakland for the WC spot, because with the Sox's mystifying ability to hand Oakland games, I don't want the Sox to face them in the playoffs.

Well, couple years back it was either Widger or Flaherty...we chose Flaherty. Not a bad pick.
