    Yeah Brown and Wright are Vets. But Brown is on the downside of his career. And hes just not getting it down, his velocity is down. The sinker cant bail him out anymore. Wright hasnt down jack crap before or after 2004. I dont see it getting better. Lieter seems to be a better option than these 2, which is sad given they told a guy they just acquired to be designated for assignment. Randy Johnson isnt typical Unit but geez hes pitching pretty damn well for what 41?

    The Yankees said Dr. James Andrews' diagnosis on Chien-Ming Wang's shoulder was inflammation and a strain.
    However, team trainer Dr. Stuart Hershon added that surgery may be necessary if Wang doesn't respond to therapy over the next couple of weeks. It sounds like a damaged rotator cuff is still what Wang is dealing with here. The right-hander will go through an exercise program for two weeks, followed by a throwing program. If everything goes well, maybe Wang will return in mid-August.
