Joba is a starter. Phil Hughes will eventually go back to the roation also. He was injured in his first game, and it has taken time to recover from that.

In my opinion, Joba should stay in the bullpen. He could take over for Mariano when he decides to hang up his spikes.

Reliever in the playoffs, starter in the future. They NEED him in that rotation. They've got nobody right now outside of CC and Burnett for next year. They need Joba there, even if he's a bit worse in the rotation.
