    Pitching Good news regarding Wang

    From Peter Abraham:
As for Wang, Dave Eiland came up with the idea for the live BP session. It was encouraging, Wang said. He was able to keep the ball down and made the adjustment with his footwork in terms of keeping his arm at the right angle instead of trailing behind.
David Cone was standing behind the cage. “He looked good to me because everything was down, even when he missed,” Cone said. “That’s what you want to see from a sinkerball pitcher.”
Good news here. Let's hope he can start carrying this over to a game.

Wasn't he practically throwing live batting practice in the first place?

Very happy to see this. We need him to start dealin for us. He's still probably a little rusty from missing the last three months of the season last year so I won't be surprised at all when he turns it around and starts pitching like we've seen he can.

RHP Chien-Ming Wang, who is on the 15-day disabled list with what the Yankees have termed weakness in his hips, threw in an extended spring training game Thursday and allowed three hits while striking out seven in five scoreless innings.
Wang is dominating extended spring training and could return soon. Good news for the Yankees.

Dominating extended spring training is good? Where is the real competition?

It's better than getting lit up in extended spring training. Already a step in the right direction!

I guess. Still not all that impressive. Is he going to face an actual AAA team?

He's made like 3 adjustments so far, and every time we think he's fixed. I won't believe it until he has a couple got starts in MLB.

C.M. Dubya is going to make his second rehab start this Sunday. His first one was a gem (6 shutout innings). His return to the majors is imminent!

    Re: Good news regarding Wang

Wang (hip) pitched seven shutout innings of four-hit ball in his second rehab start for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, against Columbus, the Associated Press reports.
Damn. CMW is ready to roll. That's 13 shutout innings of rehab.
