Jones is turning people down? Dang I thought Manny was a moron for turning down LA. This takes the cake. He's not worth the time it take to fly him to NY for a physical. Ive heard from people on another site that he got basically kicked off his winter ball team cause he was even bigger (and not in a good way) and only hit like .190.

Yeah, Edmonds and Griffey who will end up making 2-5 MILLION this year. So, get that out of your mind and realize that Andruw will sign for no guarantee, Griffey and Edmonds wont.

Griffey yes, Edmonds you don't know. Most likely Edmonds will have to take a MLC and Griffey will sign for around $3 million. Still much better options than Jones. If the whole point is to get better on the cheap, why not go with the better odds of that happening? Its ****ing dumb not to!

Edmunds' $4 mil came from LJ's 2-5 mil estimate.

I say it's worth the small price. You guys can all have your differing opinions. But it's sad when you're killing the Yankees for a minor league contract offer. Talk about nitpicky...

He is garbage. His subpar performance in the Dominican Winter League despite his trimming down closer to his playing shape proved it.

And don't try to spin his reputation as a product of bitter Dodger fans. New York fans especially have no room to trash our mega bust signings.

Edmonds and Griffey are worth it, Jones is not and I hope the Yankees brass reads this. They still need help in CF and unlike Jones, Griffey has actually lost weight after having his knee repaired. And unlike Jones, Edmonds was useful last year and helped a team get in the playoffs. Edmonds could be had on a MLC with incentives.
