I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
You joke but Punto would be a nice player to have on the bench. The Yankees bench was pretty weak last season and the Yankees felt the affects when Arod missed time and Jeter needed a day off. I think Punto can find a starting job somewhere but he can fall back to the Yankees.
Nah, I'd take him, especially to replace cocksucker Betemit.

I really do like Melky, I'm just saying objectively he's really not that good.
...BUT HOW CAN YOU LIKE WILSON BETEMIT?!?!

How do you guys see that batting lineup for next year? I see it this way so far:
1. Damon-LF
2. Cano-2B
3. Jeter-SS
4. Arod-3B
5. Nady-RF
6. Mastsui-DH
7. Cameron-CF
8. Posada-C
9. Swisher-1B
I know I would love to have a .300 hitter with a good OBP hitting third for my team. In 128 games batting third, Jeter is hitting .339.
It's not that Nick Punto is bad, it's that the Twins feel compelled to start him, ever.
