    Yankees Wang Out For Season?

Chien-Ming Wang could miss the rest of the season after suffering a mid-foot sprain of the Lisfranc ligament of the right foot and a partial tear of the peroneal longus tendon of the right foot.
He won't need surgery, but he'll be on crutches and wearing a protective boot for at least six weeks. The Journal News speculates that even if he's fully healthy at that point, it would take four weeks for him to return to pitching shape, making a late August return the best case scenario. Get ready for even more C.C. Sabathia to New York rumors.
If he goes down for the season, kiss the rest of the Yankees season goodbye. Let's hope its not.

o man............JUST what they needed........great. I'm honestly all for getting C.C. because I would imagine they could sign him long term as well.

    Damn...

Well, maybe when Hughes and Kennedy come back and straighten out, it won't be that big a deal.

Queue the whole "Wang isn't an ace anyway" responses...

That's real tough. Pettite has been very inconsistent. Mussina has been great, but there is still question in my mind if he can keep it up. Hughes and Kennedy have a LOT of improvement to make, before you can put them both in the rotation and expect to make the playoffs....

Wow, I think this type of post is catching. Maybe if the Redsox lose tonight I may just go off and post one. I feel the cussing post fever coming on.
