Chase for the Playoffs

Just incredible that we are 2 games out in the Loss column at this point. I'm still focused on just making the playoffs, but this would be an unbelievable bonus.

You know in reality the Yankees are only one game back from the Red Sox because, all the Yankees really need to do is tie and they will win the division with the better record just like two years ago.

1 game back in the L column, just amazing. The playoffs are a cinch now being up 6 in the L column on Det.

I haven't posted in a while but I am loving this domination especially while going to school in boston.

Tough loss, after such a great comeback scoring 4 in the 9th we lsoe in 14 and lost a game to Boston in the process so we are 2 back in the L column. det on as well so our magic # to clinch the WC remains at 5.

I still don't dare to dream of the division. Besides, the matchups work better for us if we win the WC and the Indians beat out the Angels for best record. That is what I am hanging my hopes on. Not that I think the Yanks will walk all over Cleveland in the playoffs. That won't happen. But we just seem to match up with them pretty well... certainly better than we do with Anaheim.

What an awesome game tonight...Melky came through big for us in the clutch with an RBI single in the bottom on the 10th. I think its safe to say that the Yankees will no matter what make the playoffs.

How about tonight's game time of 5 hours on the money. One of the shorter ones for the Yankees I suppose. And then you add on the 90 minute rain delay, and a broadcast that started at 1 PM ends at 6:30 PM lol.

We are back to 1 game out in the L column afer beating Tor and TB FINALLY held a lead against Boston.

Tough loss tonight, its not to often that you see Jeter boot a ball like that but it s ok..... The Yankees can't win every single game. The Yankees have a much easier schedule then the Redsox as the Sox have to face the A's and Twins while the Yankees get to play the O's and Devil Rays. Things are starting to look more and more like the Yankees will win the division.

2 out heading into the final 6, remmeber all we need to do is tie to win the div so it's still possible but it will be tough. W/ detroit's loss last night we just need 1 more win or det loss to clinch another postseason berth.

After all of the teams the Yankees have man handled and after the amazing games that they have had lately they can't even beat Tampa Bay...This is pure disgust...One is a beautfiul number though but my hopes are still on that division title.

We lost and Boston won to move us 3 back. The division looks like a very tough bet at this point. Jeff Karstens is terrible.
