Blue Jays Yanks at Toronto 9/18-20

The magic # is still at 4 games as the Yanks head to Toronto for a 3 game series, the division will be clinched by the weekend as we have TB this weekend and Bos and tor play each other so it should happen somewhere around Weds or Fri.

    The pitching matchups are:

    Rasner vs. Burnett Tonight
    Karstens vs. Marcum Tomorrow
    Henn vs. Halladay Wednesday

I see we have our triple A lineup for the Jays series.
What is the worst source of diarrhea ?
    A)A bowl of chili, or
    B)Curt Schilling's mouth

Well, game 1 was too close for comfort, but a win is a win, and somehow 10 games up with 12 to go seems like pretty good odds.

When you have Matsui as your #8 hitter, you know you have a good lineup.

DAYUM!! Check out the highlights of that Whore-hey Posada solo homerun. That ball hit off the banner of the third deck in right-center, just crazy. He absolutely destroyed that pitch.

Jeter got hurt today as did Damon, who got hurt while making a crazy catch, check that one in the highlights. Both are supposed to get Wednesday's game off as Halladay goes for the Blue Jays.

They'll both have a alot of days off in the last 2 weeks w/ our magic # down to 1.

Karstens pitched well again and the yanks hit 3 HRs(the Posada blast that DK mentioned plus a bg 2 run shot to straight away CF by Abreu and a solo shot by Matsui). Click the link for the box:

By the way, Sheffield was activated before last night's game so he'll be playing soon.

I am amazed at how Karstens only gave up 3 runs while giving up 10 hits and walking 3.
