Yanks at Orioles 9/8-11

The Yanks travel down I-95 to Camden Yards to take on the always struggling O's. W/ a 10 game lea din the L column there's not much left to get excited about in the reg season except the batting/MVP race for Jeter(and Cano in the batting race as well).

The pitching matchups are:

Lidle vs. Bedard Tonight
Wang vs. Loewen Tomorrow
Mussina vs. Penn Sunday
Johnson vs. Lopez Monday

Wang was great and Jeter extended his hit streak to 19 w/ 2 hits raising his avg back to .244 where he is 4 pts behind Mauer for the lead. Click the link for the box:

Wright pitched into the 7th again and the O handled the rest in a 9-4 blowout. Jeter extended his hit streak to 20 and rasied his avg. to 3.45 but Mauer raised his avg to .350. Click the link for the box:

Not a great start by Randy Johnson but the yanks came back and won again taking 3 of 4 from Baltimore. Jeter got 2 more hits raising his avg. to .346 and extending his hit streak to 21 games. Click the link for the box:
