The Yanks welcome home an old friend this weekend when Joe Girardi leads the Marlins to town in a rematch of the forgettable 2003 World Series.

The pitching matchups are:

Moehler vs. Wang Tonight
Johnson vs. Chacon Tomorrow
Willis vs. Mussina Sunday

It will be a rematch of the 1996 & 1999 World series'(both won by the yanks of course) when the Braves come to Yankee Stadium for a 3 game series. Tonight it's 2 big name pitchers who have struggled so far this year.

Well, nice how the double header gave us a pretty much automatic L in game 2 last night putting us 2.5 behind the Red Sux. That was an unwatchable game. Cano managed to pull his hammy on the way to a double which is just beautiful. Like we need any more injuries. We are not in good shape heading into this series with Atlanta.
