is it me, or did he completely supplant sturtze as the setup man to the setup man. i thought joe had a hard on for sturtze for a while there, because he would use him in any inning he could below the 8th... but it looks like proctor has that gig so far this year.

Joe did have a hardon for Tanyon the Canyon last year. I guess Proctor got on his knees and "won the job."

Dotel is coming back soon isn't he? I figure he'll become the setup man, with Proctor moving back to being setup man to the setup man, and Sturtze sliding back into being setup man to the setup man's setup man, and Farnsworth just looking like a complete dumbass in the bullpen.

so after tonight... whats the over-under on when proctor is officially the setup man, and farnsworth is mainly seeing mop up duty? does he even get another outing in a critical situation? joe looks like he wants to punch himself in the face right now, he looks so frustrated and confused.

Proctor is good but he needs better location. I still get worried when I see him come into the game. Granted, Tanyon has blown this year, but they will both be relegated to middle relief once Dotel comes back. Dotel= 7th inning, Farnsworth= 8th inning, MO= 9th inning. Myers, Smith, Proctor and Sturze will all be 6th innings or specialists.

proctor saves the day... 3 innings so far, joe for some reason has him out there for another inning, but hes looked great so far.
