According to Mike Pelfrey, in an article by the NY Times, he has realized his mistakes from last season, knows what he has to do, and seems to have confidence in his ability to improve. He also wants to "Make the Mets' decision difficult." Personally, I hope he does. If he can come into his own, we'll have 6 capable starters, and as we saw last year....you can NEVER have too much pitching. Any other opinions?
