    Padres 2059 Padres trade block

    I'm going to put Sheffield on the block because I have a logjam in the middle infield right now.

    I want to start Leeroy Jenkins but with Sheff and Franklin there's really no room.

    I have no immediate holes so I'll take a prospect and/or draft pick return for him.

    #10 Gary "Sheff" Sheffield, Shortstop, 30 yrs, San Diego Padres - Out of the Park Baseball Report

    I'll entertain offers for Jenkins or Clinton as well, but I'd prefer to deal Sheffield.

    Clinton would be the toughest of the 3 to get. You'd have to wow me.
