And I think I'm going to name Mel Ott to the all-Scrap Heaps Hall of Fame. I think this is the 3rd or 4th season in a row he was signed on the heap.

It's interesting because his ratings aren't particularly great (anymore? Not sure where they were in his prime), and his numbers over the last 3 years or so aren't particularly great, and yet he keeps latching on with new teams. He is to MSL what mediocre left-handed relievers are in real life.
