    Re: NL DH or no?

Change my vote to no. I'm tired of drastic changes in this league and I don't think there is any large movement by NL GMs to even strike up this conversation. Last thing we need is for the league to be completely offensively inflated and turn into TSSL 2.0

The fact that 3 of the 4 no votes are by those that'd benefit most makes me lean towards a no as well.

If "no" does win out Bertram Grover Weeks will be a free agent. Slyder extended him on the premise this happens (and it was looking like a strong yes at the time of the decision). I told him if no wins out I'd edit his contract to league minimum and cut him.

    I'd DH a 9 range, 9 arm 2B too.

    Re: NL DH or no?

So Slyder asked for the DH with the hopes of DHing one of his players? Is that how this came to a vote? If so, I didn't realize he was representing the whole NL.

I'd actually been considering this for the past few seasons. Slyder posed the question before discussing Weeks.

And if he represented the entire league I'd have just done it instead of asking the entire league.

I understand that you were thinking about it before. I'm just asking if it was his question that finally made you bring it public.

It was. I'd only been inwardly considering it but I wasn't sure how the idea would have been met and then a GM asked me about it without me prompting in any way so I figured I'd see if there was enough interest as a whole.

I built my team for a Non-DH league. I'd be upset if it changed now.

That's a good point. I'll likely release Bertram as indicated earlier and incorporate this two or three seasons from now to give time for roster building adjustment if the tide changes back to yes.

That also allows me to move on with the offseason.

    Re: NL DH or no?

I'd argue 1) the majority seems to want it and 2) if you EVER did it, there's always SOMEONE who built their team for no DH and would be frustrated if you did it, but I'd argue that doesn't mean don't do it.

Someone always is going to be "put aback" by it.

I voted no as I like the realism of no DH for NL, but if it changed I'm fine with it as well.

Regarding 1 if the majority wants it I may do it but no is making a comeback

Regarding 2 I'd be springing it on them with little warning if I did it now. If someone didn't build their roster with the DH in mind with two seasons notice that's their fault.

Giving notice is fine. Not opposed to a delayed roll out
