Brewster lost movement, if I save him he'll end up like Rendon.

Also 8-11 is much too good for this team.

Are auto-promotions on? Because Trevor Phillips has been promoted, not by me, for the second straight year to AAA. I didn't catch it last year, but OOTP seems to be rushing the guy through the system for no reason. And he's not producing in AAA.

Awful sim, Mattingly lost a contact and discipline point right as he was filling out at MLB... Dean looks to have died without losing a talent pt anywhere...

Looks like 6-3-10 Lindo might be making a return to the rotation if Dean doesn't improve, also Randall White finally died which is sad in so many ways

Yeah, there's two options when it comes to the minors. You can either:

    1) Auto manage the minors. This lets the game promote and demote players in the minor leagues as it see's fit.

    2) Auto minor league AAA/AA/A pitching staffs/lineups. This keeps your minor league in tact the way you left it, but fills out the lineup and pitching staff.

The second option and keeping your minor league system clean (not having 25+ year old scrubs/a ton of 1 or 1&1/2 star prospects) go hand in hand. I think the game will start the highest overall players, instead of the highest talent players.

I might have to check on that. it looks like promotions happened through the sim, at least for Detroit

There's a part of the team setup where you can set minors control to computer. It was on computer for Detroit for some reason. It's fixed.

    Subject: Retirement
    Dear Sir,
It's been a hard decision, but I think I will retire
after this season. It's time to let the youngsters
    take my job.

    Regards,
    Eddie Collins

    He's gonna be missed.

Damn. Eckersley on a tear this season.

    6 for 20 with 3 doubles, 1 homer, 5 RBI, 5 runs, and 1 BB for a .300/.333/.600/.933 slash.

Time to move him to LF when he doesn't pitch!

Maybe CF or 2B. I don't think I would bench Palmeiro for him. Palmeiro is actually performing to his ratings so far.
