It's that real-number 1 contact. Kills pitching every time.

This team is terrible. Freaking rooks getting acclimated and Grover taking forever to get healthy.

    Dear Sir,
It's been a hard decision, but I think I will retire
after this season. It's time to let the youngsters
    take my job.

Re: 2053 thread of volitile verbiage

Man a great sim rained on over the news the biggest potential free agent takes a freaking joke of an extension.

    Batting AVG: .308 (3rd)
    Homeruns: 42 (T-6th)
    Walks: 137 (4th)
    Stolen Bases: 12 (23rd)
    Runs Scored: 252 (3rd)

    Pitching ERA: 3.88 (5th)
    Opponents AVG: .250 (5th)
    HRs Allowed: 24 (T-4th)
    Walks Allowed: 85 (4th)
    Runs Allowed: 166 (6th)

Hey Look I'm finally a team that doesn't rely on its pitching every game to try and win 2-1! Will it keep up? Smith makes his/her debut next sim. Sills goes to AAA to try his hand at starting because I'm tired of seeing him get abused in the pen. Grant comes back, would anyone like to have the 10th highest ops in the NL for their dh? I would like to move Weeks for some starting pitching.

Your selling the sizzle and not the steak. Weeks is worth something, but his career OPS is clearly not what you are talking about. LOL (I couldn't resist responding to this.)

Seeing what some other deals are I thought why not when his proverbial value may never be higher! I'm not expecting a crazy insane deal but I have Allen at 1b. Plus Timmons charging strong in development. Plus it seems like a waste of an asset to bench him for Grant when I need stable pitching.

    8-12 sim.

Jones had to be saved due to a movement talent hit. Still waiting to see if Baker/Griffey/Elliott take the next level in their development. Should get some more help on offense soon with Sellers and another high contact OF soon.
