Ack, I forgot we had a day game today. Just checked the Twins page and saw that they are scoreless 0-0 in the top of the 9th.

Lohse lasted 7 innings only giving up 3 runs.





Unfortunately, the Twins are stranding runners all game long. 13 base runners and not a single one has gotten in.

Ouch, the Twins lost 1-0. They got shutout despite getting 13 hits, which is a team record for most hits while getting shut out. It's seems like every time that I check the box scores, the Twins are involved in a 1-0 or 2-1 game. It's the 8th game this month already that the Twins are involved in a such a game. What's up with this offense?

Offense sucks. We don't bat for average OR for power. It's so damn frustrating. Yet even though this has been a battle for the past couple of years (offense that is), we still retain the same shitty, no-talent batting coach. The guy couldn't coach a little league team, wtf is he doing telling this group how to hit. Obviously it ain't working. MN is too nice on the staff, that's for damn sure.

BTW: I think this 1 run loss puts the Twins at 25-27 in 1 run games this year.
