    Twins Twins @ Mariners (08/09/05)

Twins choked off a win yesterday by leading 4-0 and giving up 5 unanswered runs to lose 4-5 to the M's. Today, we've got Lohse (7-10, 4.38 ERA) vs Hernandez (0-1, 1.80 ERA) out at Safeco Field. Late start since it's on the west coast.

I don't have a good feeling about this one. Hernandez is pitching his first home game tonight. I gotta believe he'll be well received which means he's got the 10th man on his side.

    Good luck Twins.

It's the middle of the third and the score is 0-0.

Both Lohse and Hernandez have given up 1 hit and both have 2 SO's.

Good pitching in this game, piss poor offense by both teams.

Lohse gives up a run in the bottom of the 7th and there's your scorecard boys. 1-0 M's.

Disappointing offensive game. I was just reminded by my friendly stat site that the Twins and the M's have the two worst team BA's in all of the American League (.261 and .258 respectively).

Ugh. Yeah, I'm SO glad that we STILL have Scott Ulleger as our batting coach.

I am so glad the season is almost over. Can't hit as usual but the pitching has been good. Just a frustrating team.

Well, someone had to give and it was Lohse. Great pitched game though. Twins still can't seem to get those clutch hits for RISP.

Hopefully they'll take the game tonight before an off day tomorrow.

    Let's go Twins!
