    Twins Twins vs A's (08/02/05)

    Twins host the Oaktown A's for the 2nd game in the series tonight at the Dome. Pitching matchups are Mays vs Haren.


    Maybe this little mouse will bring us luck. One of the A's players scooped up this little guy off the field and put him up in the stands before the game. (maybe it was yesterday, not sure exactly)

    Well, Mays had a good game statistically. Twins led 1-0 going into the 5th inning then the A's got to Mays. He still had a decent game giving up 2 runs, 4 hits 4 SO and 2 walks. Cuddy homers in the 7th inning to tie up the game and then Romero comes in and just gives the game away, letting in 3 guys without getting ANYONE out.

    Twins fall that much further back behind the A's in the WC hunt.
