7/22 Twins vs Tigers game 2

Tonight the Twins have Joe Mays on the hill vs Mike Maroth for the Tigers.

The bats were alive and swinging last night for the Twins - let's carry it over to tonight as well. Good to see Bret Boone get a couple key hits. Torii goes 3-4 and even Justin got a single!

Twins need to keep this momentum going so they are riding high when they go into the Stadium against the Yanks. They need a couple big wins there too.

Justin's bat needs to come alive tonight (and this series) if he doesn't want to get sent down. Of course, sometimes that's the best thing for a guy in a slump.

The Twins really need to take this series. It sure would be nice to see them just hammer the Tigers through out, but you know we'll figure out a way to give a game or two away.


Anyway, I'm off. Taking my son to Valleyfair today for his birthday. Hopefully the Twins can rock Detroit again today.
