Orioles Twins Visit Camden Yards for 4

    Tonight, Pavano faces Kevin Millwood.
Tomorrow, its Brian Duensing making his first start of the year against Jeremy Guthrie.
    Saturday, Baker v. Brian Matusz.
Sunday, Slowey takes on Jake Arrieta.
It would be nice to see the Twins play well this weekend, taking at least 3 out of the 4 games.

Millwood has sucked something fierce against the Twins...hopefully that continues tonight.

Sofar, so good for Pavano. Young has driven in 3 runs (in the 1st) and Cuddyer hit a very long home run for the other run. 4-0 after 3 innings.

Nice catch by Adam Jones. It would be nice if Mauer could pull the ball a bit more. That ball is out of any park in right field.

Cuddyer hit a very long home run to left and Butera drove in his 6th run of the year. He is hitting the ball pretty well and has had a few balls caught by fielders.

Pavano threw a very nice game tonight. 5 hits, 1 walk, 4 Ks. Complete game shutout.

What a shock. The security wasn't particularly effective in stopping it. The Home Plate umpire walked out and told the guy to stop -- he did.

The stache strikes again. Maybe Mauer should grow one?

I believe Ty Wigginton and Juan Samuel summed up all of Baltimore's frustration over the last decade tonight. Or they were honoring Lou Piniella.

I think Blacky, Baker and Slowey should do so, also.

Wigginton had a a legitimate gripe. Hardy was clearly out. Had he not made the 2nd swipe with his glove, its likely he'd have gotten the call. Anytime a player makes an indecisive move at a base, they don't get the call.

Last night, Duensing looked really good in the 5 innings he pitched. Slama came in and missed his spot on 1 pitch, allowing a 2-run homer to Luke Scott. After that, the pitching did well, again.
Tonight, Baker needs to pitch better than he has in his last few starts. If he is on, the team will pick up a game on the Sox, who lost earlier today.

With 1 out in the 7th, Baker has done very well tonight. He made a mistake to Luke Scott, who hit a 2-run homer. Delmon Young has had an outstanding day today, going 3/3 with a run scored and 3 batted in. He also threw out a runner trying to advance on a foul ball he caught.
Twins are up 7-2, after 7.

Nice for Baker to show up and pitch, instead of throwing meatballs up there. Great night by Delmon and Danny Valencia as well.

    Good win for the Twins.
