    Red Sox Twins interested in Lowell?

    Ken Rosenthal reported during the BoSox/Philly game that the Twins are interested in Mike Lowell. Apparently Gardy wants him because of the injuries to O-Dawg and Hardy. Not sure of Boston's current needs, but he said they want to make space so they can bring up an OF.

    Thoughts?

    I wouldn't mind that. The Twins already have a couple good backups in Ramos/Butera.

    I would not mind the signing. We add a guy with power and someone who plays a good third base. If the price is right trade for him.

    Actually, Morales might be a bit too much to offer. Someone like Butera could actually get it done, if the Twins are willing to take on his salary.
