The Twins had a great stretch run this year, closing out the Metrodome as AL Central Champs. The ALDS left a lot to be desired, but with the injuries to Morneau and Crede, can you be disappointed with how they did?

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
I was one of the very few that that had the Twins in the LCS. But this was before the injuries and the unusual regression of the rotation that I had high hopes on. I was dead on with Mauer being very important to their success.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
Without a doubt Mauer helped push the team through. But did anyone expect Cuddyer, Kubel, and Young to step up like they did?

Young could be a late bloomer. The other two guys I didn't see that coming at all.

I'm not a twins fan but they defied my expectations cause I picked Detroit to hold on to the division and then they put up a reasonable fight against the yankees, I believe they had the lead in all 3 games, so I mean, they were short handed when they did all of this, so I can't see being disappointed. Obviously if you're a twins fan, you wanted to still be playing.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

No, I wasn't disappointed in the season. I wish they could have won a game or 2 in the playoffs, but its OK.
Every team has injuries, but losing Crede and Morneau for September was really costly for the Twins. Losing Slowey hurt more, IMO.
I'm optimistic going into next season in Target Field.
