The Twins picked a very bad day to continue their pitching woes. They have a chance to make up some ground on the Tigers or the Red Sox (in the WC). They have 18 games in 18 days, so the bullpen will need to work quite a bit, I fear.
Its 14-5 in the top of the 9th. Miguel Olivo has a chance to hit for the cycle -- he needs a double.

Today, the Twins just couldn't handle Gil Meche, although Cabrera extended his hitting streak and Mauer was 2/4 with a double and home run. He drove in all 4 runs today. Final score 5-4.
