    So it looks like Mauer isn't just going to miss Opening Day, but the few first weeks of the season as well. The plan is for him to continue his stay down in Florida after the team breaks camp to continue his rehab.

    Actually, this isn't as bad as some might think it is. Jose Morales will get his chance to show what he can do. And, its not like Mauer is going to miss the entire season. He should be back in May.
