    Rumor Another Possiblity for 3B?

There are rumors that the Twins are discussing a trade for Dan Uggla. His defense is not particularly good, but I think he would be at least adequate there. The Marlins do not appear interested in locking him up long-term, so the Twins could make them an offer in a "sign-and-trade" sort of deal.

The Marlins have been rumored to move Uggla to third for a while now but have yet to do it. He might do good over there in a couple of years. Uggla would add a lot of pop and be a great fit to hit in between Mauer and Morneau.

He would add some nice pop, and then we could put in Harris or Buscher as a late inning glove.

Not really sure, but they are always looking for pitching. I'm sure a package of a couple of young pitchers and an outfielder could get their attention.

The Marlins do not appear to be in a hurry to move Uggla: Uggla not likely to be traded

I am sure they would love to have Span patrolling the OF with Maybin.

I don't see the Twins parting with Span anytime soon. Delmon Young is a possibility, IMO.
