Where's E? Anyways, B would be too high; only teams that make the postseason should get B's or better in my book. Ultimately, they failed down the stretch and missed out on the postseason, so they get a C+ from me.

B, because they succeeded my expectations big time and got some great performances out of their starting pitching A would been postseason, but since they were just short I'll give them a solid B.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    A. Since no one expected them to compete, everyone and there mother had either the Tigers, Indians and White Sox winning the division.

How can you give them an A if they don't make the playoffs, despite expectations? I'm with brown on this one. B-

They exceeded everyones expectations, so they deserve an A.

C is average. Therefore you can give a B and still be above expectations

Then we shouldn't even have A as an option then.

Yes, if they go and win the World Series.

I'll give the Twins a B for the season. They were a lot better than the "experts" said they were going to be. Coming off a 78-win season, losing Silva, Hunter and Santana caused many to figure that 75 wins would be a struggle for this team.

    Re: Rate the Twins' season

The Twins get a B in my book. Like everyone has said, they definately exceeded everyone else's expectations. They were still able to put together a good season despite losing some of their biggest players. They have guys like Mauer and Morneau and Gardehier to thank for that. I think that if the Rays weren't that good this year, then the Twins could have been the feel-good story of the year.

You mean Garza? Getting rid of Silva seems like a plus at this point.

I gave them an A because they had a fantastic season! Their season went 163 games and lost a tough game to end their season. Gardenhire did an amzing job and the Twins exceeded my expectations. This season only makes those young guys better. This team had the best average with RISP. This team was third in runs and had the lowest HR total!! That's awesome and says a lot about this team. And this team has had a great help with no Santana or Hunter! Twins get an A from me because their future is bright and this season is evidence. Mauer, Nathan and Morneau are the true M.N.M club.

    I gave a B, but thought about the A.

Come on now any team that had Hernandez pitch that long for you, and still make it to a one game playoff says a lot about the rest of the team.

Silva was an innings eater. Garza was tough to lose as well.
