Win or lose, the Twins have played better than most "experts" expected them to and so did the White Sox. Good seasons for both and both have had chances to put the other away.

John Danks on three days rest, mind you. Then again, just about everyone has been going on three days rest lately, most of whom have had tremendous success doing so: Sabathia, Santana, Gavin Floyd, Mark Buehrle have all pitched great on short rest. Can Danks do the same?

Those numbers really don't look too good for the Twins

Danks V. the Twins has a 6.88 ERA, and Mauer, Morneau and Kubel have hit him hard -- 18/35 with 7 extra base hits. With 2 strikes against them, the Twins are hitting .352 and slugging .463.
Blackburn has not fared particularly well against the Sox. His ERA against them is 5.67.
Nathan has been nearly unhittable against the Sox (2/23), while the Twins have gone 8/21 against Jenks.
