Twins win big tonight, 7-2. Nice to see them start this short homestand on the right foot.

Blackburn pitched a nice game tonight and Morneau hit a bomb, driving in a couple more. He's got 119 RBI now. Twins won 7-2 while the White Sox lost a pair to the Jays in Chicago. Twins 1 GB -- lets see if they can win a couple more in the Dome before they head out to Baltimore, Cleveland and Tampa.

Morneau is really helping his MVP case. Good win and they need to keep winning these games they are supposed to. I will see them play the Rays in Tampa next week.My first pure AL game.
Twins win big again tonight, 7-1. Great outing by Slowey.
Jays beat the Sox today, so we're still 1 game back.

With Liriano on the mound today, the Twins have a good chance of getting the sweep. They are 5-2 in Liriano starts since his return, and both those losses coming from a bullpen collapse.
Liriano's last outing against KC was on 9 Aug and here were his stats: 5.2 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, and 5 K's. He got the W.

We need to play much better on the road to keep our division hopes alive. Game is tied at 2 top of the 7th. Liriano is pitching well again. Just think how many more wins we could have had having Liriano for the full year?!!
Morneau is putting up MVP numbers again. He drove in his 120th rbi in today game.

2-2 bottom of the 8th. Liriano has pitched 8 innings so far. Looks like our ace is back and close to his old self. I am glad he made it back after the Tommy John surgery. Our young staff has done well this season..
