Twins Notes: Cuddyer to star rehab on Monday

Gardenhire said OF Michael Cuddyer would report for his rehab assignment at Triple-A Rochester on Monday. Gardenhire said he thinks Cuddyer, out since June 30 with a strained tendon in his left index finger, will need about four or five games in Rochester before he’s ready to return.

This is good news for the club, my only concern is who will be sent down towards the end of the week when Cuddyer is done with rehab? Span better stay up, Gomez might be the one sent down? Boonser maybe? Who will it be?

Hopefully they send down Bass. He's about as good as Livan.

I have a hunch Bass will be the one sent out. His performances have been less than inspiring.

Twins RF Michael Cuddyer (broken left foot) is running on an underwater treadmill and hopes to try jogging on the field in 10 days, but returning before the regular season does not appear likely. “My focus is just on getting healthy,” Cuddyer said.
