    Liriano hurt

Francisco Liriano was scratched from Wednesday's start against the Rangers because of discomfort in his left elbow.
Gulp. "It’s nothing to be alarmed about," pitching coach Rick Anderson said. "It’s just that he’s a young kid with a bright future, and you don’t want to mess with it." Anderson added that an MRI showed no structural damage and Liriano wanted to go ahead and make the start. Still, this is an obvious source of concern. Liriano had shoulder problems in the minors, which is the big reason the Twins were able to get him as the third player in the A.J. Pierzynski trade. Boof Bonser will be called up to replace him tomorrow. Aug. 1 - 9:28 pm et

uh oh...I hope that it's not bad news after the MRI...and way to lay down against the Rangers tonight btw...I thought Scott Baker was supposed to be good? His ERA is almost 7 now.

    YES!! HAHAHA, HALLELUJAH!!!
There is hope for winning tomorrow now.

Seriously though, I hope it's nothing too serious and he'll be back out there for his next start. The kid is too awesome to go down right now.

Would have been even better if Garza, Liriano, and Johan were pitching. But lets see what the top prospect has.
