Torii to be a base stealer?

Torii talked about how he is going to be stealing lot of bases this weekend. As you notice, he was stealing bases in the final two months of the year last year and now he is doing it a lot. I think he is among the league leaders in stolen bases.

I think it's great that he is stealing bases. If you can incoporate that part of it in your game, that's awesome. Torii has put lot of time in stealing bases with Twins 1B coach Jerry White and it's paying off. I always love to have couple of guys on my team who can steal because it gives the team to score not to mention it distracts the pitcher pretty well.

I am so glad that Torii has decided to be committed to stealing bases and it's paying off.

Hes the league leader with 10 or was. I read that he did the same thing in the minors where he reads the pitcher and can tell if he is gonna try to pick him off and get a great jump before the pitch is thrown.

The key is his success rate. If it isn't 70% or higher, it isn't worth it.
