OT: Random Ramblings Thread

Onterrio is stupid. He was so down to Earth in Oregon. For whatever reason, he has had his problems. Never figured he would have a drug problem. I love watching him for the Ducks. You remember in the Fiesta Bowl when Onterrio was killing the Colorado Buffaloes on New Year's Day in 2001? He and Joey Harrington was some duo. Now those two has become nothing in the NFL.

I have no idea what Onterrio was thinking. It's bad enough you are using a kit that is used to help pass the drug test, but it's even worse when you get caught with a kit that is used to help pass the drug test. This is the same guy who got suspended last year for drug testing.

I hope the NFL suspends him for the entire year.

Considering its the 1st time ive heard something like this. He could potentially get more than a year. I hate the Ducks, worse the damn Cougars. But I still think Joey can turn it around. His WRs have to stay healthy.

I am a huge Belotti fan. I would die to see Belotti coach the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Belotti would make that team in a powerhouse and I know we would beat Michigan if he was there. Glen Mason wishes he had the success of Belotti.

Speaking of college rivalries, I decided to talk some trash with Wagner students tonight. I went to a ferry ride and I noticed this girl wearing a Wagner jacket. Fairleigh Dickinson University, which is my alma mater, played Wagner for the right to go to the tournament in March. FDU beat Wagner so I gave this girl crap. She was a good sport of course and all. I love to meet and greet strangers so I used the FDU beating Wagner as way to talk to someone.

The Oregon-Washington rivalry is huge on the West Coast. Its even more bitter than the Apple Cup.

I never noticed, Porter.

I know lot of Huskies fans that hate Belotti.

Minnesota never had a rivalry with the neighboring states in Wisconsin and Iowa since those two teams always beat the Gophers in college football.

[Porter]

Listen to Softy on KJR...and Locke occasionally. The Oregon hatred is pretty bad over here. Step into Auzten Stadium or Husky Stadium when these two teams collide you would think the civil war would be staged there.

I go to Softy's web site a lot and Softy had pictures of him talking trash with Oregon fans and celebrating at Auzten Stadium.

[Porter]

You should listen to the callers on his show. Its insane when Oregon gets mentioned. Only the Seachickens hatred of the Raiders comes close.

I miss the Seahawks/Raiders rivalry. It was funny to see the Raiders own the Seahawks back in the day.

I dont miss that rivalry a bit. My Dads a Raiders Fan. My Bros a Packers Fan, My Mom's a Steelers Fan and I'm a Niners Fan. This is not the household to be in when its football season. We all agree on one thing, we hate the seachickens.

Porter: Did I ever tell you that Lynch is the president of the anti-Packers club while patriot is the VP? Talk Packers football especially Bart to Lynch and Lynch will go crazy. What was your brother thinking being a Packers fan?

Why do you and your family hate the Seahawks? I love that team. I am a huge Holmgren fan. I can't believe I was dumb enough to pick to win the Super Bowl this past season. Seahawks backed in the playoffs like the Vikings and they lost to an very inferior Rams team at home.

I never liked the Seahawks because of some overrated LB named Brian Bosworth. That and the fact that they never went after any Free Agents worth anything. My dads a Raiders fan, his reasons are pretty self-explainatory. He hates Holmgren a lot, dont even mention Hasselbeck to him. My Bro likes Brett Farve so he took on the Pack, he isnt a fan of the Seahawks cause of the same reason as Dad. My Mom just does cause we do, her dad played with Mike Ditka in College. It was game in the Hula Bowl sometime in the 60's. He has the program from the game at his house in Honolulu.

Bosworth is a loser. He is known for his mouth. He was as good as Brock Lesnar was with the Vikings.

Seahawks actually spent lot of money on FAs under Dennis Erickson, but that never worked out.

Your dad is not the only one that hates Holmgren. Most Seahawks fans hate Holmgren. They were hoping he was fired after the Rams game, but Ruskell and Allen decided to keep him for one more year. This is big year for Holmgren. He either wins a playoff game or lose his job. Tim Ruskell, who is now the Seahawks GM, wants to hire his own guy.

Holmgren just finds ways to mess up the game. He doesnt hold his WR's accountable for dropping passes at the rate that they do. The same problems occur every single flippin season. Hes Public Enemy #2 (Manu Ginobli is right now for the acting job he did in game 3)

Who is Public Enemy #1?

Did you saw that final play of the game in the wild-card game against the Rams? That Seahawks WR should have found a way to catch that ball as the time expired.
